Overview

Job Title: Senior Test Analyst
Location: Barrow-in-Furness. Hybrid and flexible working arrangements may be available; speak to your recruiter about options for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Work largely within a Scrum Team and guide other test analysts
  • Design, execute and report on test cases
  • Collaborate with team members and the customer to ensure Acceptance Criteria are clear and understood
  • Manage defect identification, tracking, prioritisation, resolution and reporting; work with the development team to ensure timely resolution
  • Manage day-to-day test activities on a test phase under the guidance of the IT Test Manager
  • Engage with stakeholders in IT and engineering daily, supporting internal customers and building relationships

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience creating and manipulating XML data
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies and types (Agile, Scrum is highly desirable, V Model, Waterfall)
  • Experience leading a small test team on an agile project
  • Experience with test tools such as JIRA/Xray and Eggplant (Keysight); Selenium experience is a good indicator of skills

Desirable

  • ISTQB Foundation Level
  • ISTQB Foundation Level Agile extension
