We are recruiting an experienced QA Test Automation Engineer to join a purpose-driven company based in North Bristol. The team operates on a hybrid model, working 3 days a week in the Bristol office and 2 days remote. The company's software powers their business and improves the lives of millions, with a supportive and friendly team.

The company has an established QA function with SDETs and Test Automation Engineers across different teams. They are expanding their QA and testing capabilities and seek an experienced or senior Test Automation Engineer to embed within agile delivery teams, supporting automation and promoting shift-left testing practices. Some teams are early in their automation journeys and are upskilling.

In this role, you'll work with modern automation tools such as Cypress or Playwright, and may also be involved in backend testing using tools like SOAPUI. Ensuring product observability and reliability using tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, and OpsGenie is key. You will act as a quality champion, owning all aspects of testing, including automation, and may also contribute to performance and accessibility testing.

The ideal candidate has experience building frameworks with tools like Playwright or Cypress, stays updated with the latest testing technologies, and enjoys continuous learning.

The role offers a salary range of £50,000 to £70,000, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
