Where the job is based: hybrid, home-based, with Kerv Digital office/customer site visits as required. UK HQ: Seven House, 18 High Street, Longbridge, B31 2UQ. This is a 6-month FTC with a possibility of a perm post.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer, proficient in both manual and automation testing, to join our growing team and ensure the quality and reliability of our projects.

You will bring extensive experience in all levels and types of testing, capable of contributing to manual testing while leading automation efforts.

Your responsibilities will include automated testing of Microsoft Dynamics & Power Platform solutions, setting automation strategies, maintaining frameworks, and applying best practices. You should be adaptable to test various applications and integration layers, and have some knowledge of AI testing and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Cucumber
• Maintain and improve test automation frameworks
• Perform manual testing for Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform solutions
• Conduct API and Accessibility testing as needed
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
• Develop YAML and PowerShell scripts for pipelines and deployment
• Ensure accessibility compliance via automation tools
• Manage secrets using Azure Key Vault
• Participate in code reviews and process improvements
• Contribute to test planning, defect tracking, and team mentoring

• At least 5 years in automated testing
• ISTQB Certification (Foundation or Advanced)
• Experience in manual and automated testing at all levels
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform
• Agile/Scrum environment experience
• Strong understanding of testing principles and automation strategies
• Proficiency in manual test case and script creation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and quality focus
• Analytical, proactive problem-solving skills
• Experience with API testing and automation frameworks
• Knowledge of BDD/TDD/ATDD methodologies
• Ability to develop UI, API, and database automated tests
• Highly delivery-focused and proactive
