The Senior Treasury Specialist will provide critical analytic support across all aspects of Treasury operations and funding.

Key Tasks:

Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly SPV and Bond Cashflows and ensure cash flows distributions are accurately disbursed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare and review monthly SPV reporting to all stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Actively manage warehouses, including tracking eligibility criteria, portfolio parameters, performance triggers and portfolio composition.
  • Maintain the trust manager models, collaborating with other team members to guarantee the models are compliant with the deal legal documentation.
  • Oversee the team’s monthly SPV reconciliations.
  • Support the Treasurer on new deals or deal amendments.
  • Monitor and continuously assess the system to ensure current documentation is reflected correctly.
  • Ensure warehouse compliance with hedging policy and maintenance of the financial derivatives ledgers.
  • Lead day-to-day funding operating activities and troubleshoot larger ad-hoc funding operational issues as they occur.
  • Lead investor due diligences and audit requests.
  • Assist in portfolio analysis and due diligence process of any portfolio acquisitions.
  • Create and maintain up-to-date procedure documents.
  • Provide analytic support to other departments (including Credit Risk, Product & Pricing and Data) on a required basis.
  • Train and oversee other staff in the treasury team.

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in accounting/banking/financial services
  • University Degree
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Inquisitive mind
  • Ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload in a high-volume environment
  • Intermediate/advanced Excel skills
  • Familiarity with debt capital markets desirable
  • Securitisation knowledge favourable
