We'll provide the infrastructure, the strategy, and the rewards, including flexible working. All you need to bring is knowledge of fundraising best practice across Trusts and lottery disciplines and proven experience of achieving ambitious income targets.

Shelter's Income Generation team is primarily London-based. This exciting role, however, will be based in Shelter Scotland's Edinburgh office, with a reporting line into the Head of Trusts and Foundations, based in London. Collectively, the Income Generations Directorate aims to raise close to £40m to support Shelter's work across diverse income streams, including Retail, Individual Giving, Community & Events, and High-Value Partnerships, which incorporates Trusts & Foundations.

The Trusts team specifically aims to raise close to £3 million in 2025-26, over a quarter of which is income from Scottish Trusts and lottery donors.

About the role

Your challenge? To act as an external face for the charity and meet agreed annual and long-term financial targets by cultivating high-value partnerships with UK and Scottish grant-makers to fund Shelter's work in Scotland. You'll also work closely with our Directorate Leadership Team in Scotland to develop compelling and strategic funding propositions and ensure high-quality stewardship of all Trusts and lottery donors.

Finding opportunities to deepen partnerships and secure new grants that could transform our income base will also be important.

You will line-manage a Fundraising Manager and foster a collaborative, results-focused working ethos by providing effective management and support.

About you

You have a proven track record of securing five and six-figure gifts from Scottish high-value Trust donors and are comfortable working towards ambitious income targets. You demonstrate strong commercial awareness and good knowledge of the Trusts market in Scotland. You can quickly develop an understanding of how to position Shelter as a partner for major grant-makers. Adept at building and managing complex, high-value relationships, you also have some line management experience.

This is a senior role within the Trusts team, so you will contribute to shaping the team strategy and lead specifically on the Trusts fundraising strategy in Shelter Scotland.

You are proactive, creative, innovative, and responsive to change, willing to challenge the status quo and introduce new ideas when appropriate.

Rock Trust seeks an experienced Communications and Marketing Lead to coordinate communications activities for 13 months, providing maternity cover for our current lead.

As we expand our services and reach across Scotland with a new strategy, we seek an ambitious individual with an analytical eye to support our communications, especially online presence and reach. The role includes launching a new website and refreshed brand in October, maximizing awareness of youth homelessness and increasing support.

The candidate should be proactive, confident in building relationships, and work closely with teams to plan and coordinate communications activities.

This role is central to creating a profile in the local community. Through volunteering and fundraising, you’ll support the reputation of Four Square as a homeless charity, social enterprise, and community player.

It is an on-site position. The advertised role is Shop Manager, but the official job title upon appointment is Community Shop Manager.

We seek confident, influential leaders with experience managing teams and providing excellent customer service. Knowledge of recruiting and developing diverse teams, and supporting team progression, is essential. Good communication skills to engage with the local community and attract customers are also required. Experience in housing and homelessness in Scotland is preferred.

The Community Manager West leads work with communities across the West of Scotland, focusing on Glasgow, to drive practice, culture, and systems change. The role involves managing teams, delivering services, managing budgets, engaging stakeholders, and building partnerships aligned with local priorities, aiming for lasting impact based on lived experiences of the housing emergency.
