Senior UX Designer at RealTime Recruitment

I’m working exclusively with a fast-growing SaaS company who are looking for a Senior UX Designer to take ownership of the end-to-end user experience across their flagship product.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape design strategy, champion user-centred thinking, and deliver intuitive, scalable designs that have a direct impact on customer adoption and satisfaction. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and customer facing teams, working at the intersection of customer empathy, technical feasibility, and design craft.

What you’ll do

  • Lead UX across core product areas from concept through to rollout, evolving the design system.
  • Prototype and iterate: create wireframes, flows, and interactive prototypes using industry-standard and AI-enhanced tools.
  • Champion the user: run research, usability testing, and workshops to inform design.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and customer teams.
  • Promote best practice and ensure design consistency across the product.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years’ experience in UX/UI design (SaaS background ideal).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing shipped products, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Skilled in Figma, Sketch, or similar, with openness to AI-driven tools.
  • Confident creating documentation for engineering handoff.
  • Solid knowledge of HTML & CSS to support collaboration with developers.
  • Customer-first mindset with proven ability to integrate feedback into design.
  • Able to balance design excellence with speed of delivery.
  • Experience with AI/ML products or features.
  • Familiarity with SaaS-specific UX patterns (dashboards, onboarding, multi-tenant).
  • Academic/professional background in HCI, Design, Psychology, or similar.
  • Private medical insurance
  • Life assurance
  • Travel allowance for NI staff (office days)
  • Regular team days and social activities
  • Company laptop provided
  • 25 days’ annual leave + NI bank holidays
  • Extra office closure at Christmas
