This is a high-profile opportunity to join a major defence programme, contributing to the delivery of a proven, NATO-backed platform for the British Army. You’ll be at the forefront of innovation in defence engineering, leading the planning and execution of vehicle trials across diverse and challenging environments. Your work will directly contribute to the safety, performance, and reliability of cutting-edge systems, making a real impact on national security and global stability.Day-to-day you’ll be:Developing detailed test plans, procedures, and instrumentation strategiesCoordinating with internal teams, external test facilities, and customer representativesCapturing and analysing test data to support engineering decisionsProducing clear and concise technical reports for verification and validationSupporting root cause analysis and corrective actions for test anomaliesThis role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.Essential experienceSignificant experience in vehicle testing or trials within defence, automotive, or aerospace sectorsStrong understanding of test planning, instrumentation, and data analysisProven ability to manage complex test campaignsSkilled in coordinating with multiple stakeholdersExperience in producing technical documentation and reportsQualificationsDegree in Mechanical, Automotive, Systems, or related Engineering disciplineAdditional qualifications in systems engineering or data analysis are advantageousSecurity clearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
