Senior Web Developer / Full Stack Engineer - Rates and Credit - Fixed Income Technology

3 days onsite London

I am partnered with an Investment Bank who are seeking both web developers and full stack engineers to play a pivotal role in evolving their Fixed Income trading platforms.

You'll be delivering a web-based, real-time trader desktop that supports complex trading workflows working directly with trading teams.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in React.js and modern front-end frameworks
• Strong understanding of front-end architecture
• Solid understanding of backend integrations, messaging, RESTful APIs, WebSockets and experience working with backend services (preferably Java)
• [Bonus] Experience building real-time trading or financial applications with focus on performance and low latency
• [Bonus] Knowledge of Rates and Credit products, trade lifecycle, and trading workflows

Note: You do NOT have to be able to code in a backend language but do need to understand how the UIs filter through from the backend.

• DesigN and develop cutting-edge front-end applications using React and TypeScript
• Deliver engineering solutions that directly support trading workflows
• Building resilient, maintainable UIs with robust testing
• Architect front-end components that integrate into the broader trading platform
