Senior/Principal Bridge Engineer – Manchester Location: Manchester, UK Salary: £55,000 – £64,000 Our client has a very exciting opportunity for somebody to build their own team! They have a strong pipeline of work and access to significantly more, but need somebody who is keen and ambitious to grow their own bridge engineering team in their Manchester office. This is a great opportunity for somebody who wants to take on more responsibility and play a key role in business growth. Responsibilities
Lead and deliver structural designs for civil infrastructure projects Apply advanced modelling tools (e.g. LUSAS, STAAD Pro) Manage client relationships, budgets, and project delivery Mentor junior staff and support chartership development Contribute to business development and bid writing
Requirements
Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering Chartered Engineer (CEng) with more than 7+ years’ experience Strong technical background in structural analysis Confident communicator and proactive problem-solver Experience of managing and mentoring graduates and technicians
Working environment
