Senior/Principal Mechanical Engineer – Building Services Design, Birmingham city centre

About the opportunity: This consultancy provides mechanical and electrical building services design, net zero carbon, and responsible building advice for a wide range of developments including commercial, offices, industrial, residential and private medical projects. They have earned themselves a great reputation for their services and high-quality output. They are an employee‑owned business with a multi‑disciplined team of 38 engineers/consultants. The office is recently refurbished and offers flexible working options. They are looking for a Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer to hit the ground running and complement their current team.

• Direct client and external team liaison on technical issues

• Senior – helping graduates/junior engineers; Principal – leading a small team

Qualifications / What they’re looking for

• Around 5+ years’ Building Services experience
• Chartered or working towards
• Revit, AutoCAD and ideally IES experience
• Ability to run own jobs and prioritise workload effectively
