They\'re pioneering the use of artificial intelligence to revolutionise planning and engineering, helping unlock sustainable development and economic growth. Working with Lead Local Flood Authorities to build advanced tools that streamline planning reviews, and developing an AI platform that delivers high-quality, site-specific Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) for developers and planners.The RoleThe successful candidate will be a digitally minded Senior or Principal Flood Risk Consultant to lead the next evolution of flood risk management. You\'ll help shape the company\'s products and services, working closely with founders to refine outputs, review assessments, and provide expert consultancy to clients.You\'ll play a key role in integrating professional insight into our AI tools—delivering faster, more consistent, and high-quality solutions that protect communities and enable growth.ResponsibilitiesReview and approve Flood Risk AssessmentsOperate and provide feedback on AI platformAdvise clients, consultants, and regulatorsShape their flood risk product offeringRequirementsChartered CIWEM or CEng (MICE) status (or equivalent)6+ years\' experience in FRA, drainage, and SuDS in EnglandHydraulic modelling experience an advantage (e.g. Flood Modeller, TUFLOW, InfoDrainage)Strong communication and stakeholder management skillsInterest in AI-driven innovationBenefitsSalary up to £75k + equityFlexible hours and hybrid workingFlexible hours and hybrid workingAbout us: Allen & York have been matching purposeful people with purpose-led organisations for 30 years.
