A leading national law firm, recognised for its expertise in defendant insurance litigation, is looking to hire a Serious Injury Solicitor to support the ongoing growth of its specialist team.

This position offers the chance to work closely with a respected Partner and senior colleagues on high-value, complex claims spanning motor, employer’s liability, public liability, and indemnity matters. You will join a collaborative, well-established team managing multi-million-pound litigation and providing exceptional service to major insurer clients and self-insured organisations.

You will assist on a variety of catastrophic injury and large-loss cases, contributing to case strategy, drafting legal documents and reports, reviewing medical and liability evidence, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. There is also the opportunity to manage your own caseload of lower value large loss claims under supervision.

The role includes attending court hearings and conferences, ensuring compliance with client SLAs and reporting requirements, and supporting the team’s business development initiatives through training, case clinics, and marketing activities.

The Candidate

  • NQ - 2 PQE Solicitor with experience in personal injury litigation
  • Exposure to large loss or multi-track claims (defendant or claimant experience considered)
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Confident communicator with a commercial, client-focused approach
  • Proactive team player, capable of working independently when needed
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
  • Eager to learn and develop, with a focus on long-term career progression
