Join BDO's Bristol Service Charge team—a hub of excellence in independent service charge reviews. We're gearing up for significant growth, and we're on the lookout for a Manager to lead the charge in delivering top-notch client service to our expanding clientele.

As a Manager, you'll take the reins in overseeing high-quality independent reviews of annual service charge expenditure for a key client. You'll lead a dedicated team, ensuring our work is efficient, meets KPIs, and is perfectly tailored to each client's needs. You'll be the go-to person for both your team and clients, handling challenges with confidence and reporting directly to the Director and Partner team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-quality independent reviews of annual service charge expenditure for a key client.
  • Manage and develop a dedicated team; ensure work is efficient, meets KPIs, and tailored to client needs.
  • Serve as the primary contact for the team and clients; address challenges and report to the Director and Partner team.
  • Drive business development and seek opportunities to expand client reach.

Qualifications

  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification with experience working in an accountancy practice or other financial environment
  • Relevant service charge accounting experience
  • Experience managing junior staff
  • Ability to think on your feet
  • Excellent communication skills

Requirement of 2 days a week minimum in the Bristol office.
