Overview
Service Integration and Management Architect at Burberry. This role defines and maintains the architectural blueprint for the Service Integration and Management (SIAM) function to enable seamless integration, governance, and performance across internal teams and external service providers.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the high-level service and solution architecture for the SIAM function, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and ITIL best practices. Provide architectural oversight for service management capabilities without engaging in low-level solution design or integration specification.
- Lead the design of technology and process architectures that support end-to-end service integration. Ensure designs promote standardisation, automation, and interoperability across the service ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain the business and process architectural principles for SIAM, ensuring service management processes are clearly defined, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. Collaborate with process owners to embed architectural standards into operational practices.
- Define the architectural framework for all SIAM tooling, including IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms and Business Workflow Frameworks (BWF). Ensure tools are integrated, scalable, and support the full lifecycle of service delivery and integration.
- Establish and govern design standards for service architecture, including integration design principles and data architecture. Ensure tooling and process integrations adhere to these standards to support consistency, maintainability, and data integrity.
- Define the data architecture for service management with emphasis on Configuration Management Database (CMDB) centricity. Ensure that data models support accurate service mapping, impact analysis, and operational reporting.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, service owners, process leads, and third-party partners to ensure architectural alignment and adoption. Influence decision-making by articulating the value and impact of architectural choices on service outcomes.
- Engage and influence key stakeholders to ensure solutions address both functional and non-functional needs of the business, and work with Security and Information Risk functions to ensure solutions meet security standards and principles.
Qualifications / Personal Profile
- Extensive experience in IT architecture, with a focus on service management, integration, and tooling within a SIAM or multi-supplier environment.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and their architectural implications.

- Demonstrable ability to understand complex technical processes/challenges and create pragmatic solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
