The joining of Wardell Armstrong and SLR means we have a fantastic team of qualified and highly experienced Soil Scientists with comprehensive knowledge of soil, peat and environmental science, hydrology, ecology and agriculture. We have a proven successful mix of practical industry experience, environmental impact assessment capability, project management skills, and regulatory knowledge. This includes providing valuable baseline information to better assess options for site management. Our focus on waste soil assessment & characterisation, and geochemistry integration into rehabilitation plans, creates a successful holistic view on the approach to land and soil management for clients.

Overview Of Team / Business Area .

The small soils team currently based in Cardiff, Sheffield and Glasgow have a wide range of projects across all our business sectors including energy infrastructure, quarrying, forestry, residential and commercial developments and sports. The projects can be located throughout the UK and occasionally internationally in remote and challenging locations.

The role

We are looking to recruit an experienced Soil Scientist with industry experience to lead the well-established and expanding Agriculture, Soils and Peat team and development of soils, peat and agricultural work / clients firmwide.

The position can be based from any of our UK offices, ideally Glasgow, Sheffield, Leeds, Cardiff or Nottingham, and we can also consider remote workers who are prepared to travel across the UK.
