Overview
ServiceNow Lead Solution Architect - Fully Remote role at TieTalent. This role involves taking ownership of designing and delivering innovative, high-quality solutions. You will oversee the deployment, optimisation, and ongoing improvement of the ServiceNow Service Management platform, ensuring it effectively supports both internal teams and external clients. The position requires strong technical leadership to guide, coach, and develop a skilled team while ensuring platform architecture is resilient, scalable, and aligned with organisational goals. You will assess new requirements, drive ITSM and ITOM initiatives, and apply automation, integration, and best-practice frameworks to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders to define needs and translate them into practical solution designs.
- Provide technical direction to delivery teams to ensure architectural integrity.
- Recommend and evaluate new tools, platforms, and technologies.
- Lead and mentor BAs, admins, solution architects, and developers.
- Maintain platform alignment with business strategy.
- Keep a clear, up-to-date view of existing architecture and manage configuration migrations.
- Participate in workshops to refine processes and workflows.
Essential Skills & Experience
- In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules and functionality.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Experience in large, complex enterprise environments with multiple integration points.
- Skilled in designing and implementing scalable, robust architectures.
- Knowledge of cloud services, enterprise software, cybersecurity, and emerging tech such as AI and IoT.
- ITIL certification.
- Proven track record delivering complex IT solutions that meet business needs.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Current awareness of technology market trends.
- Eligibility for SC clearance.
Desirable
- ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
- PRINCE2, PMP, or similar project management certification.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or similar delivery frameworks.
