Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on professional to take full ownership of our SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams environments. You will ensure platform stability, user satisfaction, and alignment with broader collaboration strategies. You will also work closely with the Atlassian Tools System Owner to maintain a consistent approach across all collaboration platforms and provide limited backup support when needed.

Your Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams, ensuring performance, security, and user support.
- Implement and enforce governance, permission models, and best practices for Microsoft collaboration tools.
- Support business units in designing and optimising SharePoint sites, Teams structures, and collaboration workflows.
- Drive platform improvements, automation, and efficiency gains (e.g., using Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Coordinate with the Atlassian Tools System Owner to ensure strategic alignment across collaboration environments.
- Act as deputy for Atlassian administration (basic Jira/Confluence support) during absences.
- Monitor system health, manage incidents, and perform continuous improvements.
- Stay current on Microsoft 365 developments and recommend enhancements.
Your skills and experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams administration.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 governance, compliance, and security features.
- Experience with automation and low-code platforms (Power Platform).
- Familiarity with collaboration platform integration and user support at an organizational level.
- Structured, independent, and reliable work approach.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus Points:
- Basic administration knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Experience with AvePoint Cloud Governance.
- Basic knowledge of Azure Cloud (serverless services like Azure Functions and Key Vault).
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-700: Managing Microsoft Teams).
- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, APIs).
