Simmons Adaptive - Junior/Mid-Level Interim Banking Lawyer

Location: London, Greater London, UK. Full-time hybrid role, based in London, expected to run until mid-2026.

Main purpose of the role

Simmons Adaptive seeks banking lawyers to support a global financial institution. The consultant will support various projects and come from a general corporate banking background.

You will ideally have

• Experience reviewing finance documentation and excellent analytical abilities.
• Strong experience working with LMA documents and leveraged documents.
• Enthusiasm for understanding complex regulatory matters.
• An ability to communicate conclusions in a clear and succinct manner and be confident to discuss related matters with the business.
• Confidence in working in a team environment.
• Strong relationship building skills.
• Experience in deal/project management.

Person specification

• You are an English qualified lawyer with 3 - 8 years of banking law experience.
• You have experience working with LMA facility documents and similar English law guarantee documents.
• You are a problem solver and offer a collaborative approach.
• You are able to work in a dynamic and fast moving environment.
• You can work autonomously but can also collaborate as part of the wider team.
• You will be required to hold the relevant right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
