About The Role

Our Balfour Beatty Highways business has a terrific opportunity for a Site Engineer to undertake Site Engineering control and implementation of works on site, including monitoring and reporting of progress, for our M25 J10 project.

What you\'ll be doing

As a Site Engineer, You Will

• Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm
• Support the delivery of CSUK’s Sustainability activities
• Production of Task Briefing Sheets
• Contribution to production of Permit to Dig, including briefing to the workforce
• Carries out Safety Inspections
• Setting out from primary control provided by others
• The provision of sketches detailing the setting out information installed
• Read and determine information from drawings, schedules and specification

Who we\'re looking for

• Able to clearly communicate the requirements of a safe system of work to ensure that these are followed accurately
• Capable of taking ownership of tasks and communicating outcomes
• Strong work ethic with flexibility to work unsociable hours/nights
• Holds a current driving license and CSCS Card
• Understands Permit to Dig System
• Environmental awareness
• Setting out techniques – ability to use level & EDM, plus GPS
