Let’s paint the future together.RoleSkills Development Consultant – DecoratorLocation: Field BasedCompetitive salary plus benefitsWhat you’ll doDeliver and develop engaging training that builds confidence in product knowledge and decorating techniques.Identify learning needs for key customer groups and design fit-for-purpose solutions.Plan and manage a training delivery schedule, working collaboratively with the wider team.Ensure training is delivered safely and in line with HSE requirements.Introduce innovative formats of learning, including digital solutions, to meet a range of learning styles.Evaluate training effectiveness, sharing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.Keep up to date with industry trends, training techniques, and competitor activity to ensure our programmes remain best-in-class.Promote the Dulux Academy and its programmes, maximising participation and impact.What you bringLevel 3 NVQ / City & Guilds qualification in Painting & Decorating or equivalent work experience.A proven track record of engaging learners through training delivery.In-depth knowledge of the UK paint market and AkzoNobel’s position within it.Strong communication and presentation skills, able to connect with diverse audiences.Ability to design and adapt learning interventions to meet a range of learning styles.Good IT skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).A proactive, innovative approach with excellent project management skills.(Desirable) Professional training qualification, familiarity with awarding body standards, and/or assessor/verifier qualifications.Who you arePassionate about developing others and raising industry standards.Creative and adaptable, with a solutions-focused mindset.Organised and able to manage multiple priorities.A confident communicator who can influence and inspire.A team player with a strong sense of collaboration and shared purpose.Ready to help shape the future of the decorating industry?
