Location: Field Based covering South West England & Wales. We're proud to offer aFlexible Firstapproach to work, and this role is no exception. We will, however need your base 'home' location to be one of our SSE offices or depots around South West England or Wales.

As a Smart Buildings Business Manager, you will play a critical role in driving our expansion efforts and identifying new fostering strategic partnerships.

This is a leadership position with business P&L responsibility, running an established team covering South West England and Wales.

SSE Smart Buildings business makes some of the most iconic buildings come alive!

We're one of the largest building controls companies in the UK, renowned for our sustainability credentials; and enjoy strategic relationships with leading technology companies including Honeywell (Trend & Tridium); Siemens and Distech.

We design, install, monitor, maintain and optimise building control and energy systems – helping to achieve optimised working environments leading to the reduction of energy consumption in buildings, and decarbonisation. Our energy efficiency measures include building energy management systems (BEMS), lighting control, heat pumps, battery storage and solar PV solutions encompassing the application of data analytics to provide building performance insights.

Working alongside our colleagues in SSE Energy Solutions, we provide some of the most critical building control, energy generation and supply services required by a Zero Carbon World – enabling commercial and public sector customers achieve their sustainability targets.
