An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Brother as the Digital Product Owner for SMB. You’ll be responsible for the innovation and continuous improvement of our SMB related products by providing direction to multidisciplinary delivery teams. This is a great opportunity to work with a global team of committed and talented developers, subject matter experts and business partners, who share a passion delivering great software and products.

You will create a vision for your product(s) based on your understanding of business and technical requirements and convey that vision to both your team and the wider business.

Day to day duties and responsibilities will be varied, and include strategic understanding of business milestones, relationship, demand and change management. You can communicate effectively both vertically and horizontally across a wide variety of cultures, on a global scale. You are also effective at eliciting and translating business requirements, both from a language and technical perspective.

Main Tasks

  • You will be responsible for creating and communicating the product vision. Developing a clear vision for the products and communicating this effectively to delivery teams and stakeholders.
  • The role will require you to identify, engage, and communicate with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, ensuring stakeholders and users are clear on the benefits of the product and their feedback is incorporated into ongoing improvements.
  • You’ll provide direction to delivery teams to ensure alignment with the product vision and objectives.
  • You’ll be encouraged to drive continuous improvement of the products by obtaining and analysing feedback metrics and trends whilst continuously updating knowledge and skills to drive innovation and improvement.
  • You’ll work closely with Business Analysts, and PMO to identify and mitigate risks that may impact the delivery or success of products.
  • Work with key stakeholders to establish KPI’s and ROI to measure the success and impact of the products.

Requirements

  • Understanding of B2B sales processes
  • CRM systems, preferably SAP / C4C, Salesforce & Marketing Cloud
  • Content management systems, preferably Sitecore
  • Proven experience of successfully delivering high quality solutions in high pressure, structured environments using agile project management techniques and disciplines
  • Experience of creating, maintaining and prioritising product backlogs to direct the work of Agile delivery teams
  • Experience of engaging with users and turning user insight into functional improvements
  • Familiarity with setting, monitoring, and reporting measurable product performance targets
  • Have strong verbal, written and visual communication skills that you can tailor to the needs of the audience
  • Experience of managing and motivating a cross discipline team
