Senior Creative Strategist – Social Content & Brand Partnerships
London – Hybrid (3 days in office)
We’re recruiting for a forward‑thinking creative agency whose work lives at the heart of fandom and cultural connection. They partner with major entertainment and consumer brands that want more than campaigns.
If you live for culture, understand fandoms, and want to stretch what “strategy” can do in social, this could be the right move.
This agency is known for fusing entertainment IP, pop culture, fan communities and brand purpose to create content and partnerships with genuine cultural impact. They don’t just run campaigns — they build moments, movements, and creative platforms.
Responsibilities
Own the design and planning of social‑first strategies across mainstream & emerging platforms (TikTok, IG, YouTube, etc.), rooted in fan culture and behaviour.
Explore subcultures, obscure corners of Reddit, Discord, niche community hangouts — turning what you find there into insights, content hooks, formats, creator ideas.
Develop content pillars, narrative frameworks, creator/talent activations that feel native, timely and true to fan motivations.
Brand / IP Partnership Strategy
Craft frameworks for connecting entertainment or cultural IP (film, music, gaming, sport) with lifestyle or consumer brands in ways that feel unexpected, credible, and mutually valuable.
Use insight tools (quantitative, qualitative, non-traditional) to evaluate potential alignments: what’s culturally relevant, what’s credible, what might resonate.
Leadership & Cultural Insight
Translate emerging cultural trends, fan behaviour and platform shifts into strategic opportunity — helping shape creative territories that are both ambitious and grounded.
Prepare and present decks, workshops, pitches: your work needs to inspire internal teams, agency creatives, and clients.
Keep the agency and its clients ahead of the curve: you’ll be the person asking “what’s the next fandom? what are the next signals?” and making sure those feed into strategy.
You
5+ years in creative strategy, ideally in social‑first / entertainment / culture / partnerships environments.
Deep passion for fandom: you follow, engage, and understand communities around music, gaming, sport or pop culture — not just casually, but with curiosity and respect.
Comfortable using non‑traditional insights & research methods: digital ethnography, community listening, immersive social research, platform diving (Discord, Reddit, etc.).
Proven ability to build content and partnerships that perform — both strategically and creatively.
Someone with a sharp cultural radar: alert to shifts, nimble, experimental.
Great storyteller: able to synthesize messy cultural complexity into compelling narratives, decks, and pitches.
Collaborative and confident — able to present and lead across teams, clients, and stakeholders.
If you’re a strategist who sees what others don’t in fan culture — apply now!
