Responsibilities
- Directly manage a wide range of SEO campaigns across multiple industries, staying up to date with industry trends (on-site and off-site).
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, strategize campaigns, implement basic technical SEO with support from the development team, and collaborate with content and offsite teams to deliver monthly work.
- Develop, refine and implement growth strategies for SEO and craft bespoke client campaigns. Share best practices, identify opportunities to grow clients\' online visibility and conversions, and maintain regular communication with clients.
- Take responsibility for campaign success, manage workloads, and use project management tools (e.g., Wrike) to stay organised and responsive in a remote setting.
- Perform hands-on technical SEO tasks (e.g., migrations, structured data, HTML/CSS changes, site speed, Core Web Vitals, JavaScript SEO, log file analysis) with support from the development team.
- Audit websites, conduct keyword research/mapping, analytics audits, and set up tracking (UA/GA4/GTM); coordinate content, offsite and technical SEO strategies.
- Collaborate with departments such as content and outreach to ensure monthly deliverables meet client objectives and expectations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SEO with experience providing comprehensive SEO consultation and execution services.
- Digital Marketing Agency experience is essential.
- Experience in Shopify and WordPress is essential.
- Strong analytical capabilities and a proven track record in SEO across multiple industries with account management experience.
- Expert knowledge of SEO strategies and best practices, including technical, outreach and content marketing.
- Hands-on technical SEO with ability to work directly on client sites (e.g., migrations, structured data, HTML/CSS changes, site speed, core web vitals, JavaScript SEO, log file analysis).
- Proficiency with CMS platforms (WordPress, Magento, Shopify, Django, Joomla, Wix, and custom platforms); FTP knowledge is desirable.
- Ability to take ownership of client SEO performance and ROI; manage prioritisation across departments; collaborate with content and outreach teams to meet monthly deliverables.
