Summary Of Position
What’s the Gig? Clays is expanding across the UK and internationally and seeks a dynamic Social Media Manager to lead our brand’s voice and presence on a global stage. This role involves owning the social strategy, crafting engaging campaigns, and collaborating with teams to align digital presence with Clays’ energy and innovation.
You’ll have freedom to experiment, lead with creativity, and use data-driven insights to refine content. If you love big ideas, fast-paced environments, and want to contribute to Clays expansion, this is the role for you.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media strategy aligned with Clays brand objectives, target audience, and industry trends.
- Plan and deliver the social content calendar, ensuring alignment with wider marketing campaigns, promotions, PR, and industry trends.
- Lead influencer programmes from strategy through activation, building strong relationships and delivering measurable impact.
- Collaborate with the paid media agency to shape and optimize paid social campaigns.
- Curate user-generated content (UGC) to build brand authenticity and drive customer acquisition.
- Manage and optimize social media budgets to maximise impact.
- Deliver KPIs and report on performance, providing strategic insights to inform future campaigns and adapt strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with the Head of Marketing and Marketing Manager on the wider marketing strategy.
- Approve creative content produced by content creators, influencers and designers.
- Represent social media strategy in cross-functional meetings.
- Stay on top of the latest social media trends and platform updates to keep Clays innovative and engaging online.
Skills And Experience
- 3+ years in a social media leadership role (hospitality, lifestyle, or entertainment industries desirable).
- Proven ability to develop and implement high-impact campaigns and social strategies.
- Strong understanding of paid media advertising and influencer marketing.
- Experience managing budgets and cross-channel campaigns.
- Creative flair for visuals, videos, and written content tailored to different platforms.
- Strong decision-making and communication skills.
- Willingness to experiment with new ideas and tools to drive innovation.
- Energy, creativity, and a sense of fun in team culture.
- Experience building relationships with cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
