Base pay range

Referment is working with a London based discretionary hedge fund who have just opened a new role in their software development team. This range is provided by Referment. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Responsibilities

• Work across many different projects and areas of the fund; gain exposure to various asset classes.
• Develop software using a modern technology stack; collaborate with the business and non-technical stakeholders to deliver solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of object oriented programming experience (ideally C#)
• Experience working in the financial services space
• A degree in Computer Science from a leading university
• Ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders
• Key technical requirements include:
  • Structured Design and Software Engineering, especially OO programming (C# preferred)
  • Relational Databases
  • Data Structures and Algorithms
  • Operating Systems
  • Networking

Non-Technical Qualifications

• 2.1 degree or higher in Computer Science from a leading university
• Be a confident, numerate, self-starter that will be able to ‘hit the ground running’
