Responsibilities

• Develop our Sportsbook product and related applications
• Implement new features and maintain production code
• Design innovative solutions to complex problems
• Write and maintain unit tests
• Contribute meaningful peer code reviews
• Work within an agile development process

Qualifications

• Have 3+ years of professional experience with a modern programming language, with a strong preference for Python.
• Possess experience working with Linux or Unix systems
• Demonstrate a strong interest in Python and open-source technologies
• Are able to learn on the job and show an aptitude for solving complex technical problems

Extra points

• Solid experience with relational databases
• Experience working in a highly technical environment and solving complex problems
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ), and NoSQL datastores (e.g., MongoDB)
• Experience developing applications using non-blocking I/O (event loops)
• Proficiency in Python, particularly with the Tornado framework
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Previous commercial experience in the gambling or sports betting sector
• A demonstrated passion for programming, reflected through a blog, portfolio, GitHub, Bitbucket profile, or personal website
