Software Development Manager, AWS Agentic AI

We are building a new Generative AI application that will transform how enterprises operate. You will join a team on the ground floor of developing this cutting-edge product, tackling complex technical challenges to push the boundaries of AI and delivering real business value.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall development life cycle of software solutions and manage complex projects with significant impact.
• Coordinate with senior engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for product development.
• Ensure designs meet requirements and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
• Prioritize, plan projects and features, manage partners, and track external commitments.
• Monitor operation of production services to ensure Operational Excellence.
• Foster the career development of your direct reports.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience
• 7+ years of engineering experience
• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
• Experience partnering with product and program management teams
• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
• Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and effectiveness

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services
