MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This internship will have a specific project deliverable: enhancing the data ingestion process and analysis tools that enable our auditors to check and analyze information captured from multiple sources.

In this role, you will:

Develop our tool for ingesting and processing tabular data from multiple sources of information.Develop analytics and visualization dashboards to support regulatory checks and enable additional insights into the data.Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

As part of this project, you will be integrated into the Formula 1 Technical Audit group to build a comprehensive understanding of the engineering brief and context, which may include some attendance at other F1 stakeholder locations, FIA remote operations center or events.

PROFILE:

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Engineering student or graduate in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.Strong foundations in data structures and algorithm designProficiency in Python; familiarity with Java, C++, or C# is an advantageKnowledge in database design, modeling, and queryingFamiliarity with AI/ML frameworks and image analysis tools such as OCRExperience with data cleaning and processing techniques to discover insightsAn understanding of testing, debugging, and general software development best practices.
