£85,000 (DOE). Wrexham (hybrid). Hyperloop Recruitment are partnered with a leading client based near Wrexham who are looking for a Software Engineering Manager (Java) to join their growing team.

The role involves managing a small team of software engineers and QAs, providing technical expertise and leadership, promoting Agile processes across the team and wider organisation.

The role would suit a strong software engineering leader, highly proficient in Java & AWS, with strong leadership skills and excellent stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small team of software engineers and QAs
• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction
• Promote Agile processes across the team and wider organisation
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical delivery with business goals
• Design scalable systems using Java and AWS microservice architecture
• Implement automated testing methods to ensure quality

Location & Benefits

Salary: up to £85,000 basic + bonus & private medical insurance.
