Due to continued rapid growth across the UK and EU regions, our client is seeking the addition of a Test Analyst to join their rapidly growing team. The successful candidate will ideally hold a relevant degree with a couple of years relevant post grad industry experience.Due to the sensitive nature of our client’s services, the successful candidate must be fully security vetted and have been a UK resident for 3 consecutive years prior to employment and to be able to provide proof of address for the last 5 years.In return, the successful candidate will receive an excellent benefits package which includes a competitive salary up to £35,000, an immensely generous holiday package of 38 days (including bank holidays), private health insurance, company sick pay, income protection scheme, pension scheme, flexible working and hybrid working options.Perform testing across the organisation’s software product suite, including the preparation and delivery of test plans and scripts to company quality standardsPerform functional and regression testingPerform a mixture of manual and automation performance-based testingBuild, run and maintain automation scriptsUtilise bug tracker tools to identify and fix any defects or configuration issues, ensuring escalated issues are reports to the Software Testing ManagerExtract test reports and analyse findings to share with Software Testing ManagerPerform testing on new software to ensure systems meet functional and technical requirements and compliance standardsCarry out test documentation inspections created by wider members of the teamConsult regularly with key stakeholder and cross-divisional senior management team to inform them of testing progress, results and potential ongoing/upcoming issuesProvide in depth insight into test methodologies adopted for each project, making recommendations on new strategies and monitor efficiency across all tasksPerform system upgrades and system configuration testing, ensuring release notes are correctly documentedSkills and ExperienceDegree in relevant tech discipline e.g. Computer Science, Information TechnologyISTQB/ISEB Certified highly desirableKnowledge of automated testing advantageousFull proficiency with manual based performance testingExperience working with automation frameworks such as Ranorex and PlaywrightCapable of preparing and executing test plans and scriptsUp to date knowledge of QA testing compliance standards and software development methodologiesFirst class communication and people skills on all levelsAbout Express RecruitmentExpress Recruitment has been offering exceptional recruitment solutions across the East Midlands since 1987, “exceeding expectations every time” of over 267,000 candidates.We supply a diverse range of sectors including Engineering, Technology, Professional Services, Languages, Sales & Marketing, Call Centres, Commercial, Manufacturing, Local Authority, NHS, Education and Voluntary organisations.Not quite found the right role for you yet?
