Role Overview

In this role, you will:

  • Advise clients on all aspects of social housing, governance, and property law
  • Handle tenancy disputes, possession claims, and breaches of tenancy
  • Provide guidance on compliance, regulatory obligations, and sector best practices
  • Support clients with legal challenges including ASB issues, land disputes, and policy queries
  • Lead and mentor junior members of the team, helping to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the practice and client relationships
  • Represent clients in court and assist with regulator or ombudsman inquiries

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

  • Solid experience in Social Housing litigation and governance
  • A strong understanding of regulatory and charity law within the sector
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear, practical legal guidance
  • Experience in managing, mentoring, or developing team members
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to manage a profitable caseload
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, capable of adapting to evolving legal requirements
