Associate Personal Injury Solicitor / CILEx Lawyer — Location: Leeds | Hybrid / Flexible Working Options Available

We are seeking an Associate Personal Injury Solicitor or CILEx Lawyer to join a specialist team handling high-value and complex personal injury matters. The successful candidate will manage a caseload under supervision and have the opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding cases.

This position is suitable for legal professionals with 3-5 years' PQE, ideally with experience in personal injury claims. The role involves assisting clients with complex litigation, claims of significant value, and sensitive matters requiring careful attention to detail and professional client care.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of client matters with limited supervision, from initial instructions through to file closure.

  • Prepare and obtain relevant documentation and evidence.

  • Handle client enquiries and maintain excellent client care standards.

  • Support other fee earners in the Personal Injury team where required.

  • Billing and recovery of monies due from clients or third parties.

  • Organised, methodical, and detail-oriented.

  • Strong analytical skills to manage complex evidence and disclosure.

  • Ability to present and argue cases effectively, both orally and in writing.

  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.

  • Confident IT skills and the ability to work under pressure.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a flexible, proactive mindset.

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified solicitor or CILEx lawyer with a current practising certificate.
