Role Title: Solution Architect (Cloud Connectivity)

Start Date: 3rd November 2025

End Date: 31st March 2026

Location: Corsham (Hybrid)

Rate: £595p/d via Umbrella

The successful candidate will hold active MoD security clearance.

We are designing a Cloud Connectivity approach to support communication between cloud services. It will enable backend systems hosted in different cloud service providers (CSPs) such as applications, databases, and analytics platforms to exchange data securely and efficiently across cloud boundaries.

This role will help with the wider project but will focus on individual customer needs as we work through to make sure everything is fit for purpose.

Responsibilities

• Document the 'as is' and 'to be' for the applications in scope for BMFS cloud connectivity, including ports, protocols, routers, source destinations, etc.
• Work with project stakeholders to define the service wrap process, including joint discussions with the lead Solution Architect to review designs and processes.
• Contribute to daily stand-ups specifically scheduled for the Cloud Connectivity project.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure cloud connectivity designs meet security, scalability, and reliability requirements.

Qualifications

• Skilled in at least two of the following Cloud Services: Azure, AWS, Oracle.
• Preferably someone with MODCloud knowledge.
