Huhtamaki are currently looking to hire an experienced Solution Design Owner to join our global business platforms support team. Your role As a Solution Design Owner (SDO), Finance you will own the global solution design and architecture within the finance process areas. Reporting to the Senior Solution Manager, Global ERP, you will be responsible for the development of the Oracle Cloud Fusion & surrounding application ecosystem, driving decision making of the solution development and implementation roadmap related to the finance process area. Where you’ll be This is a hybrid role (4 days on site) that can be based from our HQ in Espoo, Finland, or from one of our sites in Europe, including: UK, Poland, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, France or Italy. What you’ll be doing
Own global finance solution design in alignment with business needs, industry best practices, and ERP standard functionalities. Owning solution design documentation and technical specifications. Facilitating the solution design work including architecture in finance solution area. Actively participate in implementation, roll‑out projects, and various development initiatives. Oversee the integrity of ERP and end‑to‑end business processes, ensuring seamless system integration across functions and surrounding systems. Guide AMS and implementation partner consultants to maintain alignment with objectives and best practices. Drive standardization and minimize unnecessary solution variants, supporting a holistic approach across SCM, Finance, and related stakeholders. Maintain close collaboration with business Key Users and Global Process Owners. Support master data management. Contribute solution support and change request processes. Monitor product roadmaps and quarterly upgrades to identify new capabilities or process improvements valuable for Huhtamaki, and proactively propose them with Global Process Owners. Contribute to training and competency development within the process area.
What you’ll bring to the role
Relevant Bachelor or Master’s level degree. 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with strong solution design and implementation experience. Understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud and other IT system capabilities and out‑of‑the‑box functionalities. Knowledge of industry best‑practices and continuous learning from external sources. Ability to drive delivery execution with AMS partner and other solution providers. Networking, network facilitation and co‑creation in international environment. Business communication and change management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority. A continuous improvement mindset. Basic Project Management skills. Fluent written and spoken English. Ability to travel internationally on occasions.
