Overview

You will be responsible for designing and guiding the implementation of technology solutions that meet the specific needs of EHC. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare processes and the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. You will bring deep expertise across infrastructure, cloud, network, and security domains, combined with the ability to create innovative, scalable solutions that enhance patient care and streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop solution design proposals that meet business requirements in conjunction with subject matter experts (SMEs).
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, sustainable, adaptable, and aligned to the overall IT strategy.
  • Incorporate expertise across cloud, network, data, software, and security domains.
  • Partner with business analysts, SMEs, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
  • Facilitate communication across departments to align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Guide and design integration solutions for healthcare systems to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.
  • Address compatibility challenges and develop effective integration strategies.
  • Ensure security by design is embedded in all integration and solution decisions.
  • Produce comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and technical guides.
  • Document solutions across Business, Data, Application, Technology, and Security domains.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and healthcare IT trends.
  • Recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.
  • Participate in industry forums and professional development to maintain expertise.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–7 years of experience in IT solution design/architecture roles.
  • 10+ years in technical infrastructure roles within a Microsoft environment.
  • 10+ years across Cloud, Infrastructure, Security, EUC, Network, Business Systems, and Integrations.
  • 5+ years in Cloud Identity Management.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms, databases, and integration tools.
  • Broad knowledge of Data (integration) and Application domains.
  • Strong documentation skills, with experience across multiple architecture domains.
  • Healthcare sector experience highly desirable, including knowledge of DSPT, CAF, NIST, and NHS guidelines.
  • Proven ability to embed security by design principles.
