The role of Solutions Architect sits at the heart of the Sales and Professional Services teams — translating clinical, business, and technical needs into tailored solutions that deliver measurable impact. This position focuses on advanced Nurse Call and software solutions that support critical communication in hospitals and acute care settings.

What You’ll Do

  • Assess customer requirements and design fit-for-purpose solution architectures
  • Collaborate with Sales to present and gain buy-in for proposed solutions
  • Recommend value-added services (implementation, consultancy, education, support)
  • Tailor Ascom’s full portfolio to customer strategies and environments
  • Act as a bridge between Product Marketing and Sales to ensure value alignment
  • Capture market feedback to influence future product development
  • Support seamless transition from sales to delivery with Professional Services
  • Introduce and support Project Managers during implementation
  • Evaluate project outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Support Sales activities including meetings, demos, exhibitions, and quotes

What You Bring

  • Recognised engineering or technical qualification
  • 2–5 years’ experience in healthcare tech, clinical services, or network infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience in customer-facing roles, ideally in medical/clinical tech
  • Familiarity with Nurse Call systems and healthcare workflows
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and influencing skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
  • Technical knowledge in: Servers, virtualization, cloud
  • Structured cabling and installation standards (BS EN 50173, TIA/EIA)
  • Electrical installations (BS 7671)
  • NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4)
  • Ascom products (highly desirable)
