Solutions Architect – Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Contract)

(Also considering: Solutions Director)

Location: UK (hybrid: home + client/site as required)

Our client is seeking a trusted Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Power Platform solutions. You’ll shape the architecture, align it to business goals, and drive real-world digital transformation across enterprise programmes.

What you’ll do

• Own end-to-end solution architecture for D365 CE & Power Platform.
• Define solution roadmaps and architecture blueprints with senior stakeholders.
• Set and govern best practices across CRM, integrations, security and compliance.
• Design integrations using Azure Integration Services, Dataverse and APIs, plus selected third-party apps.
• Assure delivery for scalability, performance, and Microsoft best practice.
• Lead architecture governance (reviews, design assurance, release readiness).
• Support pre-sales: solution options, demos and client presentations when needed.
• Mentor engineers/consultants and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing.

What you’ll bring

• Proven track record as a Solution Architect for Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform.
• Depth across CE modules: Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Field Service.
• Strong grasp of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, Power BI.
• Security, compliance and governance for Dynamics/Power Platform estates.
• Ability to convert business requirements into scalable, secure architectures.
• Confident stakeholder management; credible at C-suite and delivery levels.
• Familiar with DevOps/CI/CD/ALM for Power Platform.
• Microsoft certifications highly desirable.
