The Society and College of Radiographers (SCoR) are two separate entities operating together to provide services and support for professionals in radiography. They collectively serve as the professional body and trade union for those practicing in medical imaging and radiotherapy. The Society of Radiographers (SoR) seeks to recruit a Professional Officer: Clinical Imaging - AI/Assistive and Digital Technologies with Research.

This role is crucial in leading and supporting the development of radiography professional practice related to Clinical Imaging, AI/Assistive, and Digital Technologies. As the work in AI/Assistive and Digital Technologies expands, the post holder will work alongside other professionals and contribute to the team, helping the Society and College lead various workstreams in this field.

The ideal candidate will possess research skills to support effective leadership and influence within this area, fostering the development of the radiography profession within imaging services.

Who we are looking for

You should be a HCPC-registered radiographer with a broad understanding of health and social care policy and recognized leadership skills. An in-depth knowledge of radiography professions, Clinical Imaging, and AI/Assistive and Digital Technologies is essential, along with proven research experience to support this role. You will support the development, dissemination, and implementation of policy, strategy, and guidance in this vital area for the Society and College of Radiographers across the UK.
