Job Description

• Hybrid working: minimum of 2 days per week in the office or on client site, with flexibility based on role or assignment, including up to 5 days per week on client site.
• Travel to client sites will be necessary as required.

Are you driven to help organizations achieve value for money through better procurement and strategic sourcing? Our Sourcing, IT Strategy & Corporate Services capability seeks a Sourcing and Procurement Consultant. You will have the opportunity to:

• Work on significant and complex sourcing challenges in the UK and internationally.
• Provide strategic advice on transforming sourcing teams, managing multi-billion-pound procurements, and leveraging technology and data to accelerate sourcing processes.
• Support clients in achieving business outcomes through deep technical knowledge and innovative sourcing approaches.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, including operating model and process design, and supply chain management.
• Prior consulting experience is essential for Principal Consultant roles.
• Experience leading or supporting change or transformation initiatives in stakeholder environments.
• Strong delivery experience on procurement and sourcing projects from both buyer and supplier perspectives.
• Expertise in navigating complex procurement processes in asset-intensive sectors like Transport, Infrastructure, or Energy & Utilities.
• Experience in procurement of works, goods, and services, including construction and engineering services, within asset-intensive industries.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and service delivery arrangements.
• Skills in category management, cost optimization, and spend management.
• Creative and commercial thinking to solve complex procurement challenges.
• Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Self-starter with a growth mindset.
• Relevant sourcing qualifications (CIPS, MCIPS, IACCM) are preferable.
