Responsibilities

• Administer, manage, and monitor Oracle databases for optimal performance and availability.
• Execute routine database maintenance, backup, and recovery processes.
• Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with client requirements.
• Perform tuning and optimisation of SQL queries and database configurations.
• Collaborate with application developers and other technical teams to support database-related requirements.
• Support deployments and upgrades in coordination with the Application Operations team.
• Maintain documentation for database configurations and operational procedures.
• Participate in incident and problem management processes for database-related issues.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator in an enterprise or government setting.
• Proficient in Oracle database installation, configuration, patching, and upgrading.
• Strong knowledge of database backup and recovery methodologies.
• Performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work within a structured ITIL-aligned support environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• SQL Development Java E business Suite experience CI/CD practices
