Position Summary

The Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis works closely with UK business leaders and global finance teams. Key responsibilities include forecasting, budgeting, month‑end closing, financial/deal modeling, performance measurement, reporting, and analysis.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Support planning and forecasting processes.
  • Review business performance on weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadences; collaborate with stakeholders to gather inputs and summarize insights.
  • Produce executive‑level presentations.
  • Work closely with finance and technical teams to drive process and system improvements.
  • Facilitate discussions with stakeholders, manage expectations, and collaborate cross‑functionally.
  • Consult with finance leads to review and discuss key issues, risks, and dependencies for assigned initiatives.
  • Document and elevate potential risks/issues; assist in developing mitigation strategies and support their implementation.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, business finance, or a similar analytical function.
  • Experience supporting regional or country‑level business leaders, ideally within financial services, fintech, or payments.
  • Strong ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable business insights.
  • Business acumen with an ability to connect financial outcomes to strategic objectives.
  • Experience with data mining, visualization, and analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities, driving accountability, and influencing decisions across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and solutions‑oriented mindset with a high degree of ownership.
