Overview
Sr. Manager, New Equipment Sales at Otis Elevator Co. Lead a high performing team within the NE- Atlantic Operating Area (OA) and oversee all new equipment sales processes. Provide direction for continuous improvement initiatives and help meet or exceed the Operating Area's business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee sales strategy including integration of sales growth, pricing analysis, and market segment share objectives for assigned Operating Territories
- Refine existing programs and develop and lead new ones to increase sales, awards, and bookings
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team, general managers, and Operating Territory leaders to identify and help execute strategic goals
- Nurture relationships with existing key customers and consultants; develop new relationships with general contractors and other stakeholders
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development for sales associates to meet or exceed sales plans
- Develop, maintain, and manage relationships with sub-region leadership, including branch managers and functional leaders
- Provide direction to continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to travel locally as required
- Work location can be in any NE- Atlantic office
What You Will Need To Be Successful
- 5+ years of sales experience
- Prior people leadership experience
- 5 years of elevator industry experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills to develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable in a technical environment using Microsoft-based software
- Strong leadership, goal-orientation, time management, and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree required
Preferred Qualifications
- New Equipment Sales experience is preferred
