Overview

Sr. Manager, Supplier Development and Training is a key role within LEGO that leads the development of a multi-year supplier capability building strategy focused on sustainability. The role empowers external supply chain partners and internal procurement teams.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and deployment of an integrated, multi-year sustainability capability building strategy for external supply chain partners and internal LEGO procurement team members
  • Integrate existing supplier sustainability training ensuring “one voice” to the suppliers across LEGO sustainability activities
  • Identify opportunities for capability building to improve supplier performance
  • Develop supplier communication and training materials partnering with other LEGO functions and leverage existing training platforms where appropriate
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to keep training up-to-date and aligned with regulatory and stakeholder expectations
  • Proactively identify gaps in supplier performance and align training strategies with supply chain priorities
  • Partner with Corporate Sustainability, Responsible Operations and other teams to enhance existing supplier training and identify future capability building needs
  • Align and work with Responsible Operations regional teams to train the supply base

What you’ll bring

  • Education within BSc/BA, MSc/MBA in Sustainability, Business or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in supply chain, procurement, quality or sustainability roles
  • Experience in designing, developing, and deploying effective training programs for diverse audiences (e.g., onboarding, compliance, continuous improvement)
  • Ability to manage training programs from concept to execution, including timelines, budgets, external vendor/agency management and development of impact-driven KPIs
  • Ability to work with global suppliers, cultural sensitivity and training adaptability
  • Demonstrated expertise in influencing and coaching suppliers to adopt training recommendations and process improvements
  • Experience in building, directing, and managing large projects in cross-functional environments and centralized service delivery models
  • Ability to enable change across the organization and to enroll and influence others
  • Ability to connect with audiences from different functional groups (procurement, HR, learning & development, etc.) and at different levels of responsibility
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems under pressure and tight timelines, escalate issues as needed, and support leadership with strategic decision-making

The position is based in Billund, DK or London, UK and relocation support is not offered for this role.
