Sr Solution Consultant - HCM Industry Team

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Solution Consultant to join our dynamic Human Capital Management (HCM) industry team. In this role, you will be a key partner to our sales organisation, driving complex deal cycles and helping our customers and prospects solve their unique business challenges with Workday's innovative solutions.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about using their expertise to build impactful, repeatable solutions. You'll work closely with Account Executives (AEs) to champion an industry-specific point of view and help us achieve our ambitious revenue goals.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales on Strategic Deals: Act as a strategic partner to AEs, managing complex deal cycles and leading deal teams from initial discovery through to a successful close. You will provide an industry-specific point of view and drive alignment on "Big Bets"—our highest-potential pursuits.
  • Solve Complex Customer Challenges: Leverage your sophisticated product knowledge to build innovative and compelling solutions that address our customers' unique business problems.
  • Contribute to Presales Programs: Take a leadership role in critical presales initiatives, including Communities of Practice, training events, regional projects, and more. You will help develop and scale repeatable content, scripts, and events that institutionalise best practices across the team.
  • Mentor and Collaborate: Actively mentor junior solution consultants and consistently share knowledge to elevate the entire organization. You will proactively apply feedback and identify opportunities for improvement within the presales organization.
  • Drive Strategic Business Operations: Utilise your sophisticated business operator skills to ensure seamless sales-to-services transitions, maintain high-quality documentation, and contribute to our collective knowledge base.
  • Analyse and Optimise: Use data to conduct Quarterly Territory Health Reviews, identify trends, mitigate risks, and uncover opportunities for growth.

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you\'ll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.

Are you being referred to one of our roles? If so, ask your connection at Workday about our Employee Referral process!
