Overview

Sr. Strategic Specification Sales Executive – Field based covering the North West of England. Base salary up to circa £49K subject to skills and experience, plus sales bonus, company car and other benefits to be discussed on application. Join Kohler Mira Ltd as we invest in innovation and expand across our three brands: Mira Showers, Rada Controls, and Recoup. You will be a key member of the New Build Sales team, reporting to the National Sales Manager, driving how Mira’s solutions are understood and adopted across the specification chain.

Responsibilities

  • Build, manage and convert a rolling 1–5 year pipeline for your area within the New Build sector, aligning with the Mira strategic plan to drive revenue and profitability targets.
  • Manage strategic customers, building account plans for future business and driving collaboration across multiple functions.
  • Diagnose customer needs, leverage pricing and after-sales proposals to build compelling propositions with measurable ROI.
  • Build trust and develop collaborative relationships with customers and colleagues across the specification chain; lead and manage customer relationships to drive positive outcomes for the UK business.
  • Develop market insight, stay informed on market trends, legislation and ESG priorities; engage stakeholders and position Mira as a forward-thinking partner.
  • Utilise social media for market engagement to promote innovation and reflect Mira’s position as a thought leader in the specification space.
  • Fully utilise the CRM system to manage customers, pipeline, project tracking and reporting.
  • Build monthly forecasts based on pipeline conversion to support demand planning.
  • Communicate internally to provide robust market, customer and competitor feedback to inform commercial decision making.

Skills/Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in a field-based B2B role, with a track record in account management and influencing decision-makers across complex sales cycles.
  • Understanding of the New Build bathroom sectors and/or Building Services.
  • Foundational understanding of sustainability principles and their impact within the New Build housing sector; awareness of evolving environmental regulations and energy-efficient solutions.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
  • Energetic, customer-centric team player who builds trust and a pipeline of new business.
  • Tenacious, driven and competitive; full driving license required.

Preferred

  • Experience selling into New Build and understanding tender processes.
  • Experience selling showers, trays, enclosures & taps to developers in the New Build arena.
  • Experience delivering consultative sales strategies across stakeholders in Developer and Merchant channels.
  • Proactive lead and appointment generation and long-term project pipeline management.
  • CRM management including pipeline management, call and activity logging.

Sales Skills

  • Lead generation through cold calling, emailing, networking and digital outreach.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for building relationships with developers and communicating solutions across products and services.
  • Negotiation and upselling skills with ability to secure win-win agreements.
  • Proven track record of closing deals and managing the sales process to completion.
  • Persistent follow-up and CRM-driven customer care for satisfaction and retention.
  • Analytical mindset to interpret market data and align sales strategies with business objectives.
