Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of major initiatives, balancing timely delivery with sustainable engineering practices
- Coordinate the work of multiple teams into a cohesive plan aligned with company goals, milestones, and user experience standards
- Apply your frontend and full-stack expertise to improve Trustpilot's capabilities in your domain
- Develop, implement, and share strategies to ensure quality, production readiness, scalability, and ongoing health of apps and systems
- Manage and mitigate high-risk elements of projects, communicating issues, risks, and dependencies with stakeholders
- Collaborate with engineering leadership and the staff engineering cohort to recruit, develop, and support engineers
- Mentor others, share knowledge, and promote best practices
- Foster a collaborative environment, listening to diverse perspectives to reach shared goals
Your experience
- Several years in Frontend Software Engineering at a Senior, Principal, or Staff Engineer level
- In-depth knowledge of modern frontend technologies (e.g., React, Vue.js)
- Extensive experience with JavaScript-based full-stack development (e.g., Node.js)
- Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS)
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans with attention to detail
- Comprehensive knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Experience delivering scalable systems solving complex technical challenges at scale
- Stakeholder management across multiple functions/domains with the ability to create alignment
- Experience mentoring other engineers
- A customer-centric and solution-oriented mindset with bias towards action
- Strong communication of complex problems to diverse stakeholders
- Exposure to or experience with app development (iOS, Android, cross-platform frameworks)
