Band 5 Staff Nurse – Virtual Ward

A rare opportunity has arisen in our Virtual Ward as a band 5 staff nurse. Virtual Ward aims to provide safe and effective monitoring and a follow-up service for patients who require ongoing care following acute hospital admissions. This role offers a safe alternative to traditional hospital care for patients meeting specific clinical criteria.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective monitoring and follow-up service for patients requiring ongoing care following acute hospital admissions.
• Work alongside existing members of the multidisciplinary team, including Consultants, Nurses, community, DTU and Virtual Ward Clinical Coordinator, to deliver a high standard of care.
• Administer medications, procedures or investigations to control or diagnose medical conditions.
• Participate in virtual ward programmes to maintain high standards of patient care.
