We are bringing together phenomenal talent and expertise from across the semiconductor industry to drive how the next generation of leading AI compute on Arm devices are built, opening up significant and exciting future potential.

Arm is rapidly growing the Systems IP team to develop best‑in‑class solutions based on Arm's IP, addressing AI challenges in secure compute, large‑screen compute, infrastructure and automotive markets.

Responsibilities

  • Physical implementation of Arm Solutions using the entire physical implementation flow from RTL to GDSII, including synthesis, floorplanning, place & route, STA, power analysis and physical verification.
  • Optimize performance, power and area as needed and deliver outstanding implementations of our designs.
  • Work collaboratively with design teams to influence system micro‑architecture and achieve the highest standards.
  • Enable our chip‑design partners to support their physical‑implementation success.

Required skills and experience

  • Large SoC systems integration.
  • Power and physical architecture.
  • Design for test.
  • Good understanding of synthesis, place & route, clock‑tree synthesis, constraint development, timing closure, and hardware languages such as Verilog/SystemVerilog.
  • Writing and validating UPF.
  • Experience with tools like Genus & Innovus, Conformal low power, Primetime/Tempus, and other relevant physical‑implementation tools.
  • Algorithmic thinking with some programming experience in Tcl, Make and Linux shell.
  • Ability to analyse problems, reason logically about solutions and chart the appropriate course to take.
  • Curiosity about embracing new silicon‑implementation techniques and methodologies.
