At Monzo, our mission is to make money work for everyone, everywhere. We’re seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to lead the launch of new products across multiple countries in 2025 and beyond. This high-impact role requires technical expertise and exceptional leadership to achieve our ambitious goals.
Reporting to our VP of Engineering, you will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure Monzo’s continued success.
You should apply if:
- You have 5+ years of experience managing complex technology programs or products from inception to launch.
- You can communicate clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences, including executive leadership.
- You are comfortable working in a global business with multiple markets and want to scale further.
- You work effectively with diverse teams, challenge constructively, and influence others.
- You understand how functionality across products and platforms delivers value and can proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- You are comfortable analyzing data to make informed decisions in complex, ambiguous situations.
The interview process:
- Recruiter Call (30 mins): Meet our Engineering Leadership Recruiter to discuss your experience and learn about Monzo.
- Initial Call (45 mins): Meet with an engineering leader to discuss your experience, program execution, and technical leadership, and learn about Monzo.
- Loop Stage (4 hours): Four 60-minute interviews over 1-2 days.
- Final Conversation: Meet our CTO and senior leaders for a final assessment.
